How to Create Stickers from Your Photos

From Photo to Sticker in 4 Steps

1. Open Sticked and add a sticker

Open the Sticked app, go to a sticker pack (or create a new one), and tap + to add a sticker. Choose Gallery to pick a photo from your phone, or Camera to take one now.

2. Remove the background

After selecting your photo, Sticked shows you the editing screen. Tap the border tool to remove the background. Sticked uses AI to automatically detect the subject and cut it out. You'll see your subject on a transparent background — ready to be a sticker.

3. Add a border (optional)

A border makes your sticker pop in chat. You can:

  • White border — the classic sticker look
  • Colored border — match your pack's theme
  • No border — keep it clean with just the cutout

4. Save and use

Tap Save and your sticker is added to your pack. Export the pack to Telegram or WhatsApp to start using it.

  • Good lighting — well-lit subjects give cleaner cutouts
  • Simple backgrounds — solid colors behind the subject = perfect background removal
  • Close-up shots — stickers appear small in chat, so close-ups read better

  • Try the camera — sometimes a fresh photo works better than digging through your gallery
